The Gateway in Shadow New Moon Solar Eclipse June 21, 2020

The year of 2020 is complex and this solar eclipse is no less so. The eclipse that kicked off our revolution was the December 2019 eclipse, in Sagittarius involving six planets, it was the opening of the door to this bizarre, accelerated and paralyzing year of 2020 and now we are on the other side of its axis where the annular solar eclipse takes place the galactic plane on June 21st at 6°13 Gemini the lunar house of Mrigrashira when the Sun is at its zenith.

Eclipses are destiny changers; they are what propel us forward one person at a time. Their darkness creates fear in us because instinctively we know they ring the bell of time moving forward and we have become attached to the past, preferring our comfort, fearing the unknown. The June 21st solar eclipse is riddled with conflict and resistance with an immense amount of opportunity for great changes that will impact us for decades.

There are three key layers that add dimension to the effects of this eclipse. The first being four retrograde planets Jupiter, Saturn, Venus, and Mercury. The second is the perpetual retrograde king Ketu the south node is Gandanta, the crossing of fire in the axis to the eclipse.

The third layer is Mars aspecting the sign of Gemini and all of its inhabitants, Sun, Moon, Rahu, and Mercury. This combination amounts to a very volatile, agitated scene over the next few months where the conflict remains high, the feelings anxious.

Gemini the sign hosting the eclipse is our patterns of communications, discoveries, solutions, Ideas, and laws, Indicating that new laws, new forces, new regulations are on there way.

The combination of our two thinking planets the Moon and Mercury both come under the influence of Mars and Rahu making us rash, emotional, and convinced that ideas are good at the moment when they really aren’t. Mars is a terrible influence on Mercury it reduces the flexibility of Mercury and makes Mercury intolerant, narrowing, and reducing our scope. This is the point where we need to take time not to rush or lash out take time if you can at least until the 8th of July.

The world is disabled now, we are in an uprising, a time of unknowing where no one knows what to think, what to believe, what or who to trust, what will happen next, afraid to speak up, the rise of the cancel culture, where we are not able to exchange ideas or tolerate the challenging of our beliefs, media & the clickbait news,  this is all Gemini and Mercury energy disturbed Rahu.

The Eclipse will take its path is over 14 countries where India, China, Pakistan are the most vulnerable a troubling sign for these countries.

While the path of the eclipse is long the path of greatest visibility is narrow. The path reaches its maximum width of 85 kilometers wide and the "ring of fire" lasts for about 1 minute and 20 seconds yet the gateway of the eclipse season reaches over a month due to the three eclipses this summer the next one on July 5th. The effects of this eclipse are felt for the next six months.

Much good could come from our collaborations right now. Working to be constructive in our dialogues to build tangible results from our ideas and conversations. Listening and having compassion, to see that the other is us. To understand our common ground more deeply and get clarity about what direction would we like to pursue for the foreseeable future.

Gemini is teaching us to tap into the logical mind not get locked into narrow or radical ideas limiting our point of view and shutting down our ability to hear others. Finding the objective truth, the common thread, and the pattern that is deeply embedded in our structures is where this shift needs to happen and where our planet is changing ready or not.

By opening our minds, yet remaining discerning, not closed off we can unravel our dogmatic and rigid beliefs while becoming more comfortable with uncertainty and more courageous around admitting what we don’t know.

We are in the middle of a triple eclipse gateway look for what is good and take advantage of that and be grateful. Be open to the possibility of what could be? How can we make a living in this new paradigm, applying our talents, interests, and abilities in meaningful ways? How can we help each other do so?
