Quiet the Mind and Listen -Full Moon Vedic Astrology

unnamed-1.jpg

In the early morning on November 4th (or on the 3rd in the US at 10:22 pm PDT) we have a fiery full Moon in Aries where it is opposite the Sun, Jupiter and Venus all conjunct in the sign of Libra.

The contrast occurring in the sky is between the planets placed in Aries (male/fire) and Libra (female /air) where old wounds surface and the sticky/prickly points in our relationships are easily triggered.  Fueling this exchange is Mars. It's dishing out a rather hard and harsh aspect on the Moon making us feel provoked to claim our position and status making us swing hard in the battle to regain our power.

The full Moon's nakshatra is Bharani ruled by Yama and is the nakshatra of consequences. It pushing the Moon’s agenda forward ensuring that the steps we take in these next two weeks will be accounted for.

My best advice for the few days before and after the full Moon is not to dress up your anger and project it onto someone else, if you are angry then be angry and work towards releasing it. Take responsibility for your life and face your real and true reflection.  Now is not the time to sweep anything under the rug whatever remains unhealed goes underground and flourishes and grows in strength. Mars is providing us with enough courage and strength to navigate and overcome these hurdles. Remember Mars is the soldier of the sky who was born of Shiva’s sweat it comes with many blessings when treated with respect.

There is a bright spot to be had with all this tension in the sky. Venus will ignite and inspire our desire to bring more harmony and creativity into our lives and in our relationships, this will help to soften some of the planetary influence.  However by mid  November this cozy feeling will disappear when Venus and Jupiter are in close degrees  making them at odds with each other and looking to fight for dominance. Jupiter the planet of expansion compels us to stand for higher principles, while Venus drives us towards pleasure and desire making us inflexible and dishing out a my way or the highway kind of attitude.

Summary

Our individuality and power are being fully expressed through the Moon. Throughout the next few weeks we want to take care and not take a hardline position, it is a time to establish healthy boundaries, strength and our individuality in a carefully crafted way in order to be effective.

Don’t avoid responsibility by blaming others for your dissatisfaction, look honestly at yourself and with a quiet mind pay attention and observe your thoughts and feelings.  Activate your higher wisdom, embrace it, own it and begin to unravel your karmic knots so you can move forward.

While Saturn in Sagittarius in Mula Nakshatra we are in somewhat of  a crisis of facing the truth - uprooting the structures we stand on to see if they are truly strong enough to carry us. Many things are coming to the surface  throughout the end of the year in our individual lives as well as on the world stage So pay attention and have respect for yourself and others.

We are meant to live and love ourselves wholly, embracing all that we are.  When we do the work honestly and towards collaboration and connection- this full Moon is freeing and evolutionary.

May we all receive of the lesson being delivered and experience the greatest support, love and blessings that lead us to our highest destiny.

I send you lots of love and luck
